FRENCH DRAIN
A French Drain includes a wall membrane and perforated pipe around the perimeter of the interior wall. This pipe which includes a filter cloth, lays in a gravel trench and collects water. Water flows into your basement through the walls and floor, this moves through the french drain trench and into a sump pit and pump, which is than discharged out of
the home.
French drains function to divert and carry away water and moisture out from the interior of your basement. This is one of the most effective systems for treating severe damp problems in basements where exterior waterproofing can not be done due to various reasons ie: stone foundations, decks, pools etc...
